When is it a good time to go through your site and make changes?
In my experience, the answer is rarely in the middle of the day.
It can be as early as 4pm.
A recent study from Adobe found that people who worked in the evening were more likely to be found out.
It’s easy to be distracted and forget to do a few things.
A good strategy for keeping your site running is to keep the focus on content.
That’s not to say that you can’t have fun, but you have to be aware of the time constraints that you’re up against.
Asking yourself, “How much time do I have to do this?”, “Is it too late?”, and “How can I make this site run smoothly?” are all critical for creating a successful day.
If you don’t want to be overwhelmed, take time to look at your content, and be deliberate about the time you take to do it.
Your goal is to have as few breaks as possible.
The more breaks you take, the less likely you are to run into a situation where you need to leave your computer to go to the bathroom.
As you’re making the changes to your site, you can also focus on what you can do next.
It may sound like a daunting task, but the more focused you are on what’s coming next, the better off you’ll be.
As mentioned earlier, the longer you’re on your own, the more likely you’re to be tempted to just grab something from the fridge.
Instead, think about what you have in your fridge that you don and can make yourself.
If it’s an organic product that you’d like to have a few extra ingredients for, try to make your fridge stocked with that.
If not, ask someone else to fill your fridge with your food.
Then, use that as a place to go pick up things from the grocery store.
This will ensure that you are stocked with ingredients you can make at home.
When you’re ready to do your first step, take a few minutes to take a deep breath and get yourself ready to dive in.
Take a few moments to get your head in the game.
What are you doing to make this better?
What are the changes you need?
What’s the best way to keep it running smoothly?
Is it too early or too late?
What is your goal?
The more you learn about the world around you, the quicker you will realize that there is much more to life than just building and selling products.
